The DRB Program invites current trainees to apply to attend the North-East Society of Developmental Biology annual meeting at Woods Hole, MA. This regional meeting is attended by representatives from a large number of institutions and provides an excellent opportunity to present your research to your peers, learn about cutting edge research going on in other laboratories and establish new connections and collaborations. In addition to a dynamic nightly poster session, a large number of trainees are selected for oral presentation opportunities. The NESDB annual meeting takes place in the spring. A cohort of DRB Program representatives will be selected annually to be fully funded to attend.

The application window for the 2020 NESDB meeting is now open and submissions will be accepted until 5:00pm EST on Feb 21st, 2020. Notification of selection for funding will be communicated within two weeks of the submission deadline, with a formal announcement at the Annual DRB Retreat on March 30th. The DRB Program support will cover student registration, shared housing, and travel to the event in full as outlined on the application for students who present at the meeting. DRB students are welcome and encouraged to attend the NESDB meeting regardless of selection.
