 Participation in the DRB Graduate Program as an community member or affiliated student is open to all Harvard graduate students working in DRB-associated laboratories. Currently, *DRB degree candidates* must complete both the BBS and DRB Core curriculum, as described [here](/curriculum); DRB Core courses are also strongly recommended for *DRB affiliated students*. All DRB affiliated students and degree candidates are expected to attend the majority of program events (>50%) to be eligible for career development award opportunities. Please note, participation in the DRB Graduate Program is not exclusive of enrollment in other concentrations or degree programs at Harvard and can be initiated any time during graduate school.

 To be considered an official DRB student, you must **fill out a declaration of intent to join DRB**, which can be accessed [here](https://forms.gle/isqGczZ8YqPdiSNq8).

 To graduate with Developmental and Regenerative Biology listed ON YOUR DEGREE, you must meet the program requirements and fill out additional documentation through Harvard, which can be reached via [this link](https://registrar.fas.harvard.edu/files/fas-registrar/files/change_of_subject-_gsas.pdf).

###  Additional Questions and Answers

 Q. I didn't take all of the core courses, but am now in a DRB-affiliated lab, can I still be a DRB Graduate Student? A. Yes! We have expanded our membership options to allow full participation in DRB Events as an *affiliated student*, even if you are not eligible for a DRB degree under the current guidelines. For consideration of successful completion of equivalent classes, please contact our DRB Program [Co-Directors](/faculty-leadership). Q. I am not in the BBS Graduate Program, can I still be a DRB graduate student? A. Yes! Any student in the laboratory of DRB Program faculty, can join DRB as an *affiliated student*. Currently, enrollment in the BBS program is required for DRB degree designation. Q. I have taken the DRB core courses, but am not conducting my thesis research in a DRB-affiliated lab, can I still be a DRB Program member? A. Yes! You are welcome to participate as a DRB *community member*. If you would like to be an affiliated student, please contact us and will can help identify a co-advisor or co-mentor among the DRB faculty. If your PI is interested in becoming affiliated with the DRB Program, they can contact our [Co-Directors](/faculty-leadership).
